Pasted text and TXT files
Text entered into the converter and UTF-8 TXT files are processed locally by JavaScript in your browser. BanglaTools does not transmit this content to the file-conversion API.
DOCX and XLSX files
When you select Word & Excel mode and submit a file, the browser sends that file, its filename, and the selected conversion direction to the Go API. The service processes the file in memory, returns the converted copy with Cache-Control: no-store and X-File-Retention: none, then releases the request data. The application does not write uploaded documents to disk.
Logs and infrastructure
The application does not log document text or successful upload contents. It records server start/stop events and internal conversion errors without document bodies. A production hosting or network provider may independently process standard connection data such as IP address, request time, and user agent under its own operational policies.
Theme preference, cookies, and third parties
The site stores one value named banglatools-theme in browser local storage when you choose light or dark mode. It is not an identifier and is not sent to the conversion API. The current site does not set application cookies or include advertising, behavioral analytics, social tracking pixels, or third-party font requests. External reference links apply the destination site’s privacy policy.
Your choices and contact
Use text/TXT mode when content must remain entirely on-device. Do not upload confidential Office files unless you accept server processing. Privacy questions can be sent to support@banglatools.com.
